"GREAT DELIVERANCE,"  written and directed by the emerging director Guy Henderson, unfolds  a story where Rich, an elderly queer man, is transported to 1950s Adelaide to visit his younger self and recapture his rebellious spirit. However, Old Rich is instead confronted by Young Rich’s internalised homophobia and hardened personality from the threat of criminalisation for his sexuality. As their conversation reaches boiling point, Old Rich must figure out how to impart a crucial message to Young Rich before a traumatic event seals their fates.
